finally testing this whole film-thing here... and to let you guys, who might not know, see what it looks like what it is i'm on dA for
this is a short screencapture of a realtime rendered audio-visualization in winamp's AVS. the visualization is (of course) made by me and will soon be available for download... captured with camtasia.
/edit: i added music by Sunflower Machine a.k.a. ^technographer note that the music is more of a soundtrack. the visuals didn't actually run on this music.
@00:11the music is fantastic and the movement to the music right on que however the graphics seemed rater pixelish. i think is they were smoothed out it might look even more 3d!
@00:11thanks for your comment, i appreciate it much! it is sadly the one big flaw with realtime visualizations - low resolutions. since it's realtime, corners have to be cut and there is often no time left for anti-aliasing let alone double resolution. i think this was actually recorded at 400x300, ouch! i could try to use some video effect on the video recording, but i'm not sure if that would be just a blur... do you have any experience on how i could do that (programs, plugins)?
@00:11i don't know anything about films i just know how to watch them i was giving my critique from a viewers perspective! sorry i can not offer you any suggestions!
